LBM – ‘Stranded’

Pennsylvania native LBM, aka Lil Big Medium, is still only 17 years old, but the rapper is setting himself up for not just the little or medium, but the big time.

LBM is eyeing up more than just his home state, and often finds himself in California making big moves, such as features on VIBE TV. His music has so far been streamed more than 200,000 times on Spotify alone, while on SoundCloud he’s had over 500K. LBM takes his inspiration from the likes of Juice Wrld’s deeply personal lyrics. Likewise LBM values honesty, and encourages his listeners, by way of his songs, to stick to their genuine paths, and stay true to who they really are.

His latest single, ‘Stranded’, comes with a music video which serves as a metaphor about how hard it is to leave behind toxic people. He’s running from his now ex-girlfriend, who he’s left in the California woods, and is seemingly on his way to freedom. She is never far behind however, and she metaphorically stalks him around a deserted mansion, chasing him with a knife. Clearly she has a tight reign on his feelings, making his escape all the more difficult. The running is symbolic of his mental desire to break up with his girlfriend, but try as he might, she keeps coming back into his mind.

You can find LBM on his official website. Watch ‘Stranded’ below.
