Hilary Roberts Releases ‘Just Let Go’, Proceeds Towards Those Affected By COViD-19 Pandemic

Recording artist and philanthropist Hilary Roberts has just dropped her new track, ‘Just Let Go’, with proceeds going towards those affected by the COViD-19 pandemic. Proving that a global pandemic can bring us together instead of scaring us apart is no mean feat. But if anyone can do it, it’s musician, philanthropist and mental health advocate, Hilary Roberts. Her quarantine anthem, ‘Just Let Go’ is premiering everywhere on the 1st May 2020.

‘Just Let Go’ is an upbeat song for all of us who may be struggling somewhat in quarantine. The music video features key workers lip syncing along and dancing to the track, which also sees Roberts dancing in her garden in the sunshine. Recorded and filmed in lockdown, this video proves that times like these can bring us together instead of driving us apart.

No stranger to success, earlier this year, Hilary Roberts released ‘Good Man’, which is currently #16 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart. Her past releases include ‘There For You’, the Billboard Chart topper ‘Back to Life’ and the emotionally poignant ‘Fight to the Other Side’.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from ‘Just Let Go’ will go to Hilary’s own charity, The Red Songbird Foundation, and their efforts to support those affected by the COViD-19 pandemic. The Red Songbird Foundation, started in 2009 by Hilary Roberts, aims to help survivors of trauma caused by sexual, physical, and verbal abuse, by providing counselling, assisting members to enter treatment, and by integrating members into support groups that specifically address their primary issues. Already having saved dozens of lives, it is their mission to continue their work and raise awareness in efforts to save more lives. It’s Hilary’s greatest wish to know that people have already been healed and continue to receive treatment in their journey to recovery, and that there are a lot more who will get the help they need as the awareness of the foundation grows.
