‘Right Now’ is the latest single from Essex pop-rock band, The Vision. The song is written about taking control of your own story, and is accompanied by a music video rich in imagery and symbolism, and featuring members of the LGBT+ community.
Comprising Lee Bennett (Vocals), Stanley Burt (Guitar), Steven Brown (Bass), The Vision are a trio from Chelmsford, Essex, and for this song they have taken their inspiration from people they know who have turned their lives around, and in so doing have a brighter future. They hope to convey this power and positivity in the video for ‘Right Now’, and share with the world that we are in control of our own stories.
Lyrically and musically ‘Right Now’ gives the listener a sense of urgency; the soaring vocals from lead singer Lee, and energetic guitar and bass from Stanley and Steve combine to further compound this sense. ‘Right Now’ follows on from the success of The Vision’s debut album, ‘The Beginning’, released in 2018. The Vision count among their influences Ed Sheeran, The Script, and Maroon 5, and together with producer Jorden Milnes, are working towards making a unique, yet commercial sound.
