#Jedward Gets Weird With Yungblud Quarantune Cover

John Grimes is quarantining with his brother Edward in Los Angeles, and to cope with the heat (it’s pretty tough having to stay indoors when it’s 30 degrees C outside), he’s been recording some quarantunes to keep himself, his twin, and his fans happy and occupied during this weird time in life.

Today he’s uploaded a gorgeously up tempo acoustic cover of Yungblud’s recent release, ‘Weird’, and he’s once again put his own stamp on it. You can listen to it here on YouTube:

John and Edward ran into Yungblud (aka Dominic Harrison) a couple of weeks ago in Los Angeles. You can see a photo of the meeting here:

‘Weird‘ is a very appropriate song for the current crisis; its lyrics tell the story of how we’re all in the same situation – it’s a weird time of life.

Jedward have likewise been encouraging their fans and followers with uplifting tweets the past couple of days. Yesterday morning they tweeted,

Fans and non fans appreciated sentiment, with many agreeing that this sort of positive outlook is what is needed during the current times of COVID-19. We wonder what John will come with next time? Maybe send him a suggestion on their Twitter!
