ALANIS MORISSETTE DROPS NEW TRACK ‘DIAGNOSIS’

Whilst this is not an official single release, Alanis Morissette thought it would be a great idea to drop ‘Diagnosis’ for her fans to enjoy, as she thought it related to this difficult time we are currently in.

The track works as the perfect taster for what the singer has to come. Her ninth studio album ‘Such Pretty Forks In The Road’ is due to be released later this year and ‘Diagnosis’ allows listeners to get excited for when the time comes. Fans have been looking forward to hearing this new album for an astonishing 8 years! ‘Havoc And Bright Lights’ reached Gold certification and Alanis thought 2020 is the perfect year to release what will hopefully be another successful album.

‘Diagnosis’ will be featured on the record alongside Alanis’s other singles ‘Reasons I Drink’ and ‘Smiling.’ The tracklist sees the work of an incredibly talented team including; songwriter Michael Farrell (Morrissey, Macy Gray) and producer Alex Hope (Troye Sivan, Ben Platt, Tove Lo).

Alanis tested her new material in front of an audience at Shepherd’s Bush Empire back at the end of February at is hoping to start a 13-date European tour later in the year. She will be performing at some iconic venues such as O2 Arena, London on September 28th.

‘Diagnosis’ is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms here. Be sure to follow Alanis on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for more updates!
