OMD announce special London Royal Albert Hall Show 28th September. The show features a unique and exciting set list for fans. The announcement of the iconic London venue comes as part of OMDs 40th anniversary celebrations.

Continuing to celebrate their anniversary in style, OMD have today announced that they return to the Royal Albert Hall for an extremely special concert on September 28th with tickets going on sale 6th March 2020 here.

Set to be a totally unique night for all OMD fans, the evening will see them perform two stunning sets, opening with the more atmospheric soundscapes of ‘Stanlow’, ‘Statues’, and ‘Ghost Star’, and a handful of rarities that commemorate their beginning 40 years ago. The group will also perform many rarely played tracks taken from their debut album OMITD.

Following a short break, the remainder of the night will be dedicated to their much-loved hit singles taken from an impressive 13 album career, including the classic, ‘Enola Gay’ to highlights from ‘Architecture And Morality’, and more recent hits ‘Don’t Go’, and ‘Isotype’.

A show that is truly not to be missed.

The announcement follows on from OMD’s 40th anniversary celebrations which included the release of the momentous ‘Souvenir’ anniversary box-set and greatest hits collection.The band also took to the road last year, with a critically acclaimed world tour in which Metro described the set as “an entire decade in 100 minutes, delivered with inspired enthusiasm”, while The Guardian noted as “Modern technology and computer graphics mean OMD sound pristine and look far more futuristic than their wildest dreams in 1979.”

OMD have sold an astonishing 25 million singles and 15 million albums, which has established them as electronic synthesiser pioneers and one of Britain’s best-loved pop groups.
