Justina Valentine “Strawberry Soda”

‘Strawberry Soda’ is the latest single from Justina Valentine, and as with her previous releases, Justina owns the beat right from the outset.

Cruising in on a trap beat, alongside some synths that make you want to get up and move your body, she swiftly launches into a hip-hop chorus that will hit you hard where you feel it most – Justina’s rhymes will open an eye or two, but they will definitely get you where she wants you to be.

The new track builds onto the momentum established by her album, ‘Favorite Vibe’, which she released last year and established her place in the rap pantheon.

Even if we think we know Justina already, she’s never been more alluring or outrageous – as well as energetic – as she is in the video for ‘Strawberry Soda’. She’s also stylistically flexible, and has more than a keen grasp on rap geography, as she snatches up men from all the major metro areas in the States. See Justina in a classic Cali car with a guy from LA; she’s there in football gear, alongside a supporter of the New England Patriots; she’s making some heat with a boy from Miami; and she’s making moves with a dude from Newark, New Jersey. Can you dig it? Yes we can!
