Circuit3 Set To Release New Electro Pop Single THE RAIN April 3rd With Launch At Whelan’s

Irish electro-pop artist Circuit3 returns on April 3 with latest single, ‘THE RAIN’. The track will be available in all digital stores, streaming platforms, and on limited edition 10-track remix CD, which will be available from Bandcamp.

Capturing the sound of rain by way of synthesised sounds, Circuit3 allows his instrument to do its job, and when his vocals are heard, they don’t overpower the music. The sound fits precisely with the synopsis of the song; “a dystopian view of spring time. A fragile vocal wrapped in a synthy rain wash underpinned by a minimal compu-rhythm”.

There is a great deal of beauty to be heard in ‘THE RAIN’, and the listener is allowed to visualise a drizzly evening…be it in Dublin, London, or some Blade Runner type future-world.

Circuit3 seems to have borrowed Peter Gabriel’s vocals for this track, which while sparse are nonetheless ethereal and evocative.

‘THE RAIN’ is the latest single from Circuit3’s latest album, ‘THE PRICE OF NOTHING & THE VALUE OF EVERYTHING’, which was praised by none other than Martyn Ware (Human League, Heaven 17), who said,

“The album sounds great! Glad current artists are keeping the faith with quality songwriting”.

Circuit3, who has recently had successful performances in the US and UK, will launch ‘THE RAIN’ at Whelan’s, Dublin, on April 3. Joining him will be Irish electronic artist, Imploded View. Tickets and further information are available here.
