Raylon – ‘Over You’

Self made Texas native Raylon has many strings to his bow, including academics, track and field, and his work in the recording studio. While maintaining an interest in country music, Raylon’s style hones in on a blend of RnB and harmony rap, which takes its inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and Usher.

As you can imagine, Raylon is a fairly determined person, and when he says one of his main goals is to expand his audience, then you’d better believe he’s going to achieve it. His latest single, ‘Over You’, and the music video that comes with it, goes a lot of the way towards achieving that goal. Raylon, with his winning smile and fashionable style, reminisces about a love that was the world to him – but is now gone. It’s the sort of love that no matter how hard you try, you just can’t shake off and move on. The clip sees the sun just starting to set, with Raylon dividing his time between the studio, and the neighbourhood, aglow with the golden hour – as he serenades the camera with his song about the love that he can never truly forget.
