Basicially, F$O Dinero never sleeps – he’s been dropping singles like they’re going out of style, with the quality matching the quantity. It’s a work ethic shared by the rest of his Fly $hit Only crew, who we covered back in May, with their single, ‘Yaw Yaw‘. Dinero’s latest release, ‘Panty Droppa’, sees him sizing up to be a legitimate competitor to the likes of Lil Wayne and the Cash Money Movement.
The song is all about having a fun time – but not until you’ve done the overtime – such is Dinero’s work ethic. Sure yeah he sings about girls, pills, and 40s, but there’s no play without some solid work going down first. The track is a great big steaming slice of Florida bounce, from Broward County, next door neighbour to Miami. There’s crispy claps, and a cool yet razor-sharp flow from Dinero. He might be singing about his endless supply of shawty and substances, but at the same time the message is all too clear: ain’t nobody got time for anyone who thinks they can take over his spot.
The Florida sunshine in the accompanying video is a welcome break for those of us who are already deep into the winter chill. If the scenes of endless sunshine, and even more bronzed skin isn’t enough to warm even the most frozen of hearts, then picture yourself in Dinero’s place, chilling by his beachfront infinity pool (filled to the brim with bikini-clad girls of course), and a party which spreads from a boat, to a mansion, and lasts long into the night.
