Bblasian – ‘Upper Hand’

Bblasian, from Louisville Kentucky, could easily be the next big thing in hip hop. His new single, ‘Upper Hand’, is the latest release from the artist who has been described by UrbanMaxx as “changing the way the world views Louisville hip-hop.”

Bblasian’s flow is deeply musical and rhythmically intoxicating, making a hook out of anything he can get his hands onto, and ‘Upper Hand’ is a prime example of what he can do. Bblasian’s easygoing, yet energetic vocals, and the anthemic sound of the track are enough to ensure that the song is going to captivate all listeners; anything else is cream on the top. The clip, made by GXDLIKETCLA, takes a candid look at a day in the life of this young creator, as he comes into full possession of the power he has to be able to change his surroundings, his environment, with his music. We see Bblasian on the streets with a boombox, and despite its relative old-fashionedness, he nonetheless brings colour, passion, vibrancy, and joy to wherever and whomever he encounters.
