#Jedward Shock Fans With Surprise Second Single Announcement

Jedward will be releasing deeply sensual ‘Bodies In Action’ this Thursday 13 June, alongside the already announced ‘Soul Crushing’. The songs are the first two tracks on their upcoming fourth album, ‘Voice Of A Rebel’, which comes out June 27, via Universal Music. ‘Soul Crushing’ is already available across Asia.

In a surprise announcement on their Twitter account last night, the Dublin duo, who commemorate their 10th year in music this August, told their followers about the track, including a short clip of the song. Listen to it below:

The short clip, at just over a minute long, is quite suggestive, while still leaving enough to the imagination. It has a vibe of the chorus of Taylor Swift’s ‘Out Of The Woods’, while vocally reminding us of Justin Timberlake, both of whom have been strong influences on the music of John and Edward. It remains to be seen what the rest of the song sounds like, but the clip of ‘Bodies In Action’ certainly feels as though it’s a sure-fire radio-ready track.

‘Bodies In Action’ is the 6th song to be revealed from ‘Voice Of A Rebel’, which contains 22 tracks and will be Jedward’s fourth album, and the first with their new label. They have also released 12 non-album tracks between 2014 and 2018.

Jedward signed to Universal Music Asia earlier this year, an inspired move considering their incredible popularity in that part of the world, and their frequent comparison to K-Pop stars. Lead single, ‘Soul Crushing’, was released in Asia last Thursday, June 6.

‘Soul Crushing’ and ‘Bodies In Action’ will be available to stream and download worldwide across all digital media from June 13, while ‘Voice Of A Rebel’ will be available from 27 June.

Jedward can be found online on their official website, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat, and YouTube.
