DIAMANTE – ‘Haunted’

Boston’s DIAMANTE is a hard core rock and roller with a modern alt twist, whose dream collaborator is Joan Jett. Diamante’s latest single, ‘Haunted’ has a music video which has already passed the 3 million views mark.

Having her first exposure to rock music at the age of 14 during a School of Rock summer programme, her goal is to bring rock music back into the mainstream: Diamante’s mission is for people to know rock isn’t dead and it’s not dying anytime soon.
DIAMANTE is sugar and spice and fire and ice: she’s got a bad rocker girl attitude, while having a girl-next-door personality. On the one hand, she’s supported the likes of Five Finger Death Punch on tour, and will be touring with Breaking Benjamin in the US in Canada later this year; on the other hand she is studying business full time, something which is going to stand her well in her music career.
DIAMANTE’s style, confidence, and powerful voice has seen her sign with Eleven Seven Music Group, and Better Noise Records, in 2015. Grammy Award Winner Howard Benson produced her debut album, ‘Coming In Hot’, and he additionally claims that Diamante is the only female who can fill Joan Jett’s boots.
The video for ‘Haunted’ sees DIAMANTE dressed in black, in a black room, forcing the focus onto the instruments and vocals. The guitar grabs the listener straight away, with DIAMANTE looking at the camera in a way which captures fully her name: her eyes sparkle with a mysterious fearlessness.
‘Haunted’ is the sequel to ‘Sleepwalking’, which saw DIAMANTE deal with the pain of a terrible breakup. Time has moved on, and ‘Haunted’ shows DIAMANTE over the heartbreak, and growing stronger from it. In the meantime, the person who hurt her is only now realising their actions, and regretting it so much that the memories of DIAMANTE haunt them.
