Menny ft. Sean Kingston – ‘Wings’

Menachem “Menny” Amram was born into a very musical family in Jerusalem, Israel, and began to explore is talents at a very early age, beginning with drums, and then discovering a love for writing poetry, and singing. He would leave his audiences wanting for more, but he realised he needed to get out of there to be a success.

“You cannot make it big if you’re there,” – so in 2002, he moved to the United States.

Now in 2019, seventeen years later, Menny is living in Brooklyn and has never looked back. He’s honed his skills and perfected his music, worked as a wedding DJ and for parties, and it all came together in 2014, when Menny entered a programme designed to promote singers. He blew the crowd away with his talent and energy. He’s also studied hip-hop, and pop dance, with Robin Dunn, and Tweet Boogie, who now serves as his choreographer, at the Alvin Ailey Great School Of Dance, New York.

Menny is currently working on an album, writing lyrics and melodies, and taking inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Usher, Jason Derulo – and from his own life story. His latest single, ‘Wings’, tells the story of a lady who is so special, she lifts you up. It’s accompanied by a video, shot in LA. It’s simple and not flashy, showing just Menny and Sean Kingston, dressed up like they’re out for a night out, on a rooftop at sunset, and in a club, shooting across the skyline of downtown LA. Together they’re singing and dancing, in honor of those women who give them wings.
