There’s No Regrets For Vegas’ LX And New Single ‘One Regret’

LX was born and raised in Las Vegas, and was taught from an early age by her father, “dare to be great”, and she’s certainly living up to that motto with her new single, ‘One Regret’.

LX has been performing since she was a young teenager, singing on some of Las Vegas’ biggest stages, and worked on her music career, self-releasing her songs, as well as music videos. When she left Vegas behind her however was when she found her star rising. She’s since charted in the Billboard Pop Indicator Top 40, the FMBQ A/C Top 40 Chart, and has been listed as one of Music Connection Magazine’s “Top 100 Unsigned Artists Of 2016”.

Sourcing the themes for her music from real life experiences, LX is able to combine these with some raw emotion, as well as catchy salsa style dance beats, some high energy hooks, and relatable lyrics.

‘One Regret’ also features hip hop artist Baby J, and his raps are the perfect counterpoint to LXs sweet, Ariana Grande style vocals. The song is accompanied by a music video shot in and around the Venice Beach area of Los Angeles. It’s a party atmosphere, and the girls are up for some fun. As LX says, “Good girls sometimes play the bad guy!” – there’s some humour to it, as one of LX’s friends teases Baby J, wanting to be his “one regret” – and then running out the gate with him not far behind wondering where she’s going. The song is very catchy and an absolute earworm, you’ll be humming the chorus long after you finish playing it. You’ll have no regrets!

With new music in the works, the sky is the limit for LX. She sees the bigger picture for her career however, as one of being a positive role model:

“I want my music to make an impact and inspire people, especially young girls so that they can be strong and independent.”
