J Cole Releases New Single ‘Middle Child’

Out via Dreamville, with distribution through Roc Nation/Interscope Records, North Carolina Rapper J Cole today dropped his new single, ‘Middle Child’.

Cole is currently in the studio finishing up his sixth studio album, as well as his second compilation album, ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’. ‘Middle Child’ is his first official single release since 2013, and comes after a massive year for the artist, who dropped the ‘KOD’ album as well as toured, and featured on a number of tracks for artists including 6LACK, Jay Rock, 21 Savage, and Moneybagg Yo.

Dreamville, in addition to J Cole’s forthcoming album, is in the process of completing three highly anticipated projects, all of which are set to be released early this year. ‘Revenge Of The Dreamers III’ is a collaboration featuring Dreamville artists, as well as some of the most exciting artists and producers in Hip Hop today. The other projects are ‘Shea Butter Baby’, comes from rising R&B singer/songwriter Ari Lennox, and ‘Mirrorland’, from Atlanta duo EarthGang, who blur all boundaries with their sound.

Dreamville was launched by J Cole way back in 2007, and is now widely regarded as a hotbed of eclectic talent. In addition to Ari Lennox and EarthGang, Dreamville’s roster also includes Bas, J.I.D., Cozz, Omen, and Lute.
