The Essential Advent Calendar: December 10 – Liam Grae’s ‘The Christmas Song’ Is Just In Time For The Holidays

Liam Grae has followed up his debut single, ‘Uniform‘, with his take on the holiday classic, ‘The Christmas Song’.

The singer songwriter first came to our attention with his debut single, ‘Uniform’, which was co-written and recorded with Dale Anthoni, best known for his work with The Vamps, and Carlie Hanson. The single has been produced by Andrew Furze, and mixed by Todd Bergman. The video, shot in black and white by Leo Deveney of FD Photo Studio, shows Liam in full crooning style with a piano and old style microphone. The entire effect is set off by the rustic sensibilities of the downtown LA apartment where it’s been recorded.

Speaking of the choice to cover the festive track, Liam said,

“It isn’t Christmas without Nat King Cole and his sultry vocals on ‘The Christmas Song’…this is my homage to him and my take on the Christmas classic.”

You can find out more about Liam online on his official website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. Stream and download ‘Uniform’ on Spotify and iTunes.
