Dianña – ‘Andale Yeehaw’

Despite writing, recording, and performing in a wide range of genres, including R&B, rap, pop rock, gospel, and alternative – working with artists as diverse as Snoop Dogg, to Amy Grant – Dianña is best known for her Latin Country music. As incongruous as it might sound, it’s the perfect match, and is guaranteed to get you singing and dancing.

Dianña is a bit of a musical phenomenon – she is a much sought-after harmony vocalist and is able to sing in several languages. She wrote pop ballad ‘Leaving You Behind’, for Emii, which hit the charts and garnered more than a million streams when it was released. Her passions extend beyond music, including philanthropy, and she’s written and performed the songs, ‘Stand Up & Live Strong’, and ‘I Know I’m Beautiful’, supporting Susan G Komen’s Race For The Cure, and Breast Cancer Award Ceremonies, among many other causes, including Katrina Disaster Relief, battered women’s and homeless shelters, and Saint Martin’s Animal Rescue.
Considering her body of work, which also includes a nomination for a Billboard Music Award as a songwriter, ‘Andale Yeehaw’ is Dianña’s first single as a lead artist, and it seamlessly blends instruments used in Latin music with the southern vocals found in country music. It’s not Tex-Mex, it’s not Americana, it’s not Mariachi, but it’s a beautiful new amalgam, leaving the listener wanting to hear more.
The video for ‘Andale Yeehaw’ sees Dianña entering a country and western bar, where she leads the room in a line dance, blending both Latin and country. It’s fun and inviting and guaranteed to make you want to don a stetson and boot scoot across the room.
