Fr Eazzy – ‘The Weekend’

Fr Eazzy – aka Far Rock Eazzy, is a rap artist from Rockaway, Queens, and styled as the King Of New York. With slick verses and high energy choruses, and his crew who call themselves, RoRo Life (Real Only Recognise Real Official), he’s taking over the world. Fr Eazzy has also started the RoRo Entertainment Company, to help him along in pursuing his dreams. His latest single, ‘The Weekend’, comes with a powering music video.

Real name Kashawn Hunter, Fr Eazzy grew up enthralled by music culture, which surrounded him in every part of his life. While still in high school, he became popular on YouTube, and was discovered by the RoRo Life clique. He set out on a solo career in 2011, and got into modelling, acting, and designing, as well as his music. He’s run in his own lane, and released a series of singles over the years, including ‘I’m Good’, ‘RoRo Ryder’, and the very political ‘Don’t Preach That’. His first mixtape, ‘Catch My Vibe’, came out in 2016, and he received attention on the radio in the form of an interview with DJ Will and DJ Self on Radio 105.1. He collaborated on the album with Fetty Wap, and it was consequently a huge hit. He’s also worked with producers such as Reef, Fresh Beatz, and Papi Ocho, as well as toured with Jim Jones and Big B’s. He started at the bottom and now he’s here.
The clip for ‘The Weekend’ celebrates all aspects of life, emphasising the good times, and brings out a positive mindset. Directed by ProPaTV, it starts out at near a beach where a party ensues, and Fr Eazzy, red Solo cup in his hand, breaks into dance, while his friends join in. Towards the end of the video, Eazzy dives into the pool headfirst – taking hold of his destiny.
