‘If Only’ was co-written by Francesco Sartori, and the late Lucio Quarantotto, who is known for his part in helping pen one of Bocelli’s greatest hits, ‘Con Te Partirò, which translates into English as, ‘Time To Say Goodbye’. The song was released over twenty years ago and has become one of the best selling singles of all time.

Speaking of the collaboration, Dua Lipa said,

“Our beautiful song is out in the world! It was an honour to work with Andrea Bocelli on our duet ‘If Only’ and I hope everyone enjoys it.”

Bocelli this week achieved two historic chart feats: he is now the first classical artist to hit the number 1 spot on the Official UK Album Charts in over 20 years, and at the same time in the US, he’s topped the Billboard 200 chart, for the first time in his long and illustrious career. Not only that, it’s also Decca’s first UK/US chart double in the label’s nearly 90 year history.

Andrea is in his 60th birthday year, and proves he’s still at the top of his game with ‘Sí’. The album, which takes family and friends and love as central roles, showcases Bocelli’s extraordinary talent and spirit. He is currently on tour, and you can find out more information here.
