G Swavey Releases Debut EP ‘Let Me Think’

Garett Lopez, performing as G Swavey, is a 21 year old Peurto Rican hip hop/Reggaeton artist, living in New York City’s Bronx.

G Swavey moved to the US at the age of 14, and has been following his musical dreams for all that time, while earning a living as a waiter, using his tips to buy studio time. He began producing music using only his iPhone, and has now released his debut six track EP, ‘Let Me Think’. The record is a very sophisticated collection of self-penned tracks, written in his native Spanish, as well as English.

Every one of the six tracks on ‘Let Me Think’, released on September 1, shows a different aspect of G Swavey’s life, commencing with his ‘Complicated’ love story, through his Latin flavoured ‘Charisma’, and working all the way through to the final track, ‘Detach’. Along the way we’re treated to an intimate look at his emotions – ranging from pent up anger, right through to his softer, more open and loving side.
G Swavey worked with Chuck Taylor on the EP, along with Seth Jones, who devised the artwork.
‘Let Me Think’ is avaiable on all major digital platforms now. Check out G Swavey online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
