David Sereny – ‘Spotlite’

We’ve covered Dave Sereny before back in April with his single, ‘Talk To Me‘. Now the smooth jazz artist, hailing from Toronto, Canada, is back, with the instrumental, ‘Spotlite’.

‘Spotlite’, rather than focusing on vocals or lyrics, instead puts the spotlight (!) on Dave’s guitar. With an impressively intricate style, the effervescent spirit of Sereny’s music comes through in every note. This is no less obvious in the music video, which was directed by Kyle Ingram. Shot in Philadelphia, we see Dave playing his guitar in a courtyard, and like the Pied Piper, he starts off a chain reaction of followers, beginning with a young man and woman feeling the groove of his music, and gradually growing to a huge mass of people, clapping their hands, swaying to the music. Finally, we come to Dave on stage, playing a live show. It’s a feel good video with a great vibe, and we challenge anyone not to get up and dance and follow Dave Sereny.
Find out more about Dave online on his official website, Instagram, and Twitter.
