NYA – ‘SOUTHLAND’ EP

We’ve written about NYA before with her releases ‘Let Go’ and ‘Mania’ last year. Now she’s back with her latest EP, ‘Southland’, which takes her into a more adult headspace.

Still experimenting with genre, the three tracks on ‘Southland’ sees NYA singing a classic ballad with ‘Shallow’ – a need for connection which falls on the side of destructive; ‘For Your Loe’, a sultry track which focuses on the two extremes of love and desire; and finally ‘Hollywood Hills’, an ethereal track on which she reflects about the reality which all too often shows its face above our dreams. With its SoCal sound, it’s the perfect track for NYA, who originally from Florida, nowadays divides her time between New York, and Los Angeles, and is busily discovering who she really is.

You can find out more about Nya online on her official website, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Soundcloud.
