White Light – ‘Ghost’ (feat. Avelyn)

‘Ghost’ is the latest track from White Light. The artist, from Calgary, Canada, whose real name is Brandon Linkewich, started his journey as an electronic artist at the age of 13, when he bought his first pair of DJ decks. Soaking up a world including the likes of Tiësto, Deadmau5, and Laidback Luke, he saw his destiny in dance music.

The name White Light was revealed to Brandon while still in middle school, and he began to use it in his DJ performances. He reinvested all his earnings into his business, and by 16 he’d amassed enough experience, not to mention new gear, to be invited to perform at his first festival, Alberta’s TreeZen.

Brandon applied to and was accepted into the Icon Collective Music School in Los Angeles, and from there started experimenting with video, amassing millions of views and growing his online fanbase.

‘Ghost’ (ft. Avelyn) has been released this month on the US based imprint, Artist Intelligence Agency. The track is upbeat and pop-synth inspired with a deeply personal yet positive message, that in darkness, there is always light, you simply have to be brave enough to find it. Avelyn’s vocals are gossamer light, while the instrumentals are spectacularly airy.

You can find out more about White Light online on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, while ‘Ghost’ is available to stream and download here.
