Au/Ra – ‘Panic Room’ (S3RVO REMIX)

Known simply as S3RVO, producer and DJ Michael Leonard started DJing at the age of 15. Now 27, he got his start in 2006 when he started making what was locally known as “bounce” music, or alternatively, “Scouse House”. In 2010 he left the underground scene and moved into the more commercial side of music.

S3RVO moved to Australia’s Gold Coast in 2014, which has a thriving music scene. After settling into life in his adopted country, he’s written a swathe of tracks and was signed to Sony BMG in December last year.

S3RVO’s latest track is a remix of Au/Ra’s ‘Panic Room’. It’s a gentle electronic mix, with a nicely muffled undercurrent which doesn’t deflect from the underlying dark emotions of the original, a treatise on dealing with anxiety.
