‘ALEXIS KINGS’ Release Newest 80’s Funk Flavoured Single ‘VELVET’

Described by Huw Stephens from BBC Radio 1 as “not a band to miss”, indie rock 4-piece Alexis Kings are set to release their latest single, ‘Velvet’, on August 3.

The track is a feel-good anthem with a funky, yet soulful edge, and precedes the release of their debut album later this year.

Alexis Kings comprises Brendan Aherne on vocals, Sam Privett in lead guitar, Kalyan Rogers on bass, and Fabio Bocca on drums. They’ve been making a name for themselves with their melody-driven guitar sound, and have played to sell out crowds, most recently at Barfly, Camden, and also at live shows across Asia and the USA.

‘Velvet’ has been produced by Ian Dowling, known for his work with Bombay Bicycle Club, and Chapel Club, and will be accompanied by a video featuring Old Men Grooving, made famous by Britain’s Got Talent.
