‘THE MEG’ – IN CINEMAS AUGUST 10

A crew on a deep-sea submersible is trapped at the bottom of the deepest trench in the Pacific Ocean. As part of an international undersea observation program, the crew and its submersible is attacked by a creature, formally assumed extinct.

With time against them, for the crew to survive, someone has to attempt a rescue mission and come face to face with the 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon. The fate of the crew lies in the hands of Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) a deep sea rescue diver.

Together with the support of an oceanographer (Winston Chao) and his daughter Suyin (Li Bingbing) the team must face their fear, go into the unknown and save the crew before time runs out. Little does the team know, this is not the first time Jonas has met the creature. Would you go head to head with a 75-foot shark? Better still, would you do it twice??

‘The Meg’ opens this summer, beginning on August 10, in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX.  The film will be distributed in China by Gravity Pictures, and throughout the rest of the world by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Entertainment Company.
