FROM THE CREATORS OF THE INBETWEENERS COMES ‘THE FESTIVAL’ – IN CINEMAS 17TH AUGUST

Get your tickets to the ultimate party of 2018. ‘The Festival’ is the first feature film production from the writers of ‘The Inbetweeners’, and is certainly one for the music and comedy lovers in all of us.

When Nick (Joe Thomas) gets dumped at graduation, his embarrassing and very public meltdown in front of the entire university has him convinced his life is over. With the help of friends Shane (Hammed Animashaun), “Festival Aficionado” Amy (Claudia O’Doherty) Nick is thrown into a world he hates: mud, camping, music and a 3 day bender. For a festival virgin, what could possibly go wrong? With appearances from comedy legends Noel Fielding and Jemaine Clement, this year festivals have never been funnier.

Get your tickets and join ‘The Festival’ from August 17th, in cinemas nationwide.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
