Peter Cloud is a 21 year old producer from Italy whose remixes are guarateed to get you up out of your seat and onto the dance floor. His remix of ‘One More Time’ is a stunning interpretation of the classic Daft Punk track.
If you’re familiar with Daft Punk, and considering they’ve been producing since the early 1990s, very few people won’t be – then you’ll most likely also know their early 2000s hit, ‘One More Time’. The electronica track lends itself easily to interpretation, and Peter Cloud’s take on it is a breath of fresh air.
Cloud has taken the track, softening the robotic vocals so they are behind the instrumentation, which itself he’s freshened up by giving it a driving beat. There’s a nice metronomic rhythm that comes in just before the halfway point, melding perfectly with the bridge. It’s an extraordinary piece that will get you up and rocking hard. Cloud takes the original laid back vibe and turns it into a stomping rhythm. One more time? Two more times…three…four…we love it.
