Maggie Garnier Releases Album – ‘The Lord is My Light’

The first album from Maggie Garnier, ‘The Lord Is My Light’, is set for release on 17 May, and features tracks written by Maggie, as well as some of her favourite hymns. The album also features a track, ‘Can I See You Now’, written by her brother Joubert, who also served as musical director. ‘The Lord Is My Light’ is a real family affair, with their brother Taylor producing.

Maggie Garnier started singing at the age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since. She had always wanted to release a gospel album in order to promote Christ, and takes her inspiration from well known gospel singers, including Tramaine Hawins and CeCe Winans.

One of Maggie’s favourite songs on the album is her self-penned, ‘Don’t Be Discouraged’, which was inspired by the trials and tribulations she faced in her life.
