New Hope Club ‘Start Over Again’ With Video For New Track – We Catch Up With The Guys

The video for New Hope Club’s latest single, ‘Start Over Again’ is Out now. The clip sees each member of the band having a disaster ahead of their high school prom, including Reece who falls over in front of his date, breaking his glasses.

The band have just kicked off their ‘Road To Empire’ fanfest tour, with a fantastic show last night at London’s famous Borderline. The band will perform in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and Newcastle, before winding it all up in Sheffield on April 13. The intimate performances will let fans see New Hope Club up close and personal, ahead of their biggest headline performances to date, at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 1st and 2nd June. Tickets go on sale for the Shepherd’s Bush Empire shows at 10am on Saturday 14 April.

We caught up with NHC ahead of their tour.

EP: Hi guys! You’ve had an incredible year! Supporting The Vamps, soundtrack for the new ‘Early Man’ film, and now headline shows at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire! How does it all feel? Is it like a dream still or are you just about accepting it’s all real?

NHC: It has been a whirlwind of a year so far! We still can’t believe all of the amazing things we’ve been able to do. We are looking forward to the upcoming shows and of course our first ever headline tour and shows in the UK! We sometimes have to pinch ourselves.

EP: You’re doing some fanfest shows this Easter, leading up to the SBE shows – what can fans expect?

NHC: The Road To Shepherds Bush is going to be a fun one. WE will be playing new songs and also answering questions from the audience which we haven’t done in the UK before. It should be a crazy tour with lots of singing and dancing involved.

EP: You’re going to release a new single ahead of your shows – do you have any teasers for us about it? Style? Hints of the lyrics?

NHC: The song we are releasing before our tour is a song that our fans have heard before. We have never released it until now. The song is all about first dates and how they go terribly wrong, we are excited for the video to be released because we do a little bit of acting in it.

EP: What’s the top 3 songs on your playlists right now?

NHC: 1. ‘Dreams’ – Fleetwood Mac (classic)

2. ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ – The Beatles…we might be covering this one soon hint, hint.

3. ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ – Frank Sinatra (This one gets us ready for stage)

EP: What’s next for you guys?

NHC: We will probably go and get some lunch. After that, two solid months touring all around Europe, maybe a trip to the US in the summer… But we can’t say too much about that yet. All we can say is there will be lots of new songs, merch, videos, shows and sleep.
