JAY – MR SHELLINGTON To Release New Single ‘PAKISTANS’ Ft King Licious

Jay – Mr Shellington, aka Njabulo, is set to releass his latest single, ‘Pakistans’, on 30 March. His music reflects a range of genres, including Hip-Hop, House, RnB, Gospel, and Soul.

The artist, from South Africa, discovered his love for musical composition when he joined a Gospel music group in Durban, back in 2002. He got into Hip-Hop, and started making demos, while at the same time maintaining links to his gospel roots.

Jay – Mr Shellington doesn’t subscribe to any one particular genre, but instead, each track is a unique reflection of his specific feelings about the song. With influences such as R. Kelly, Jay – Mr Shellington describes himself as “so street and Godly”. ‘Pakistans’ is an upbeat track with elements of Grime and Hip-Hop, as well as traditional South African rhythms. The track featues King Licious, another South African Hip-Hop artist.
