Hannah Jane Lewis Releases New Single ‘ Aftershock’ Following Success Of Last Year’s ‘Raincheck’

Florida-based Hannah Jane Lewis has recently released new track ‘Aftershock’, via Hot Hot Records.

The single is a follow up to last year’s ‘Raincheck’ – which made it onto BBC Radio 1’s ‘Introducing’ playlist and has amassed a million streams on Spotify.

With clear and light vocals, Hannah’s ‘Aftershock’ – which has also made it onto first play on Radio 1- is the kind of song that keeps you swaying as you listen to it.

Influenced by US pop icons – Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera – Surrey-born Hannah moved to Florida with her parents before attending NYU’s Tisch School of Arts – of which Lady Gaga is an alum.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
