Queen Extravaganza To Tour UK Starting October!

Back by popular demand, the Queen Extravaganza will tour the UK, starting October 30 at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, and continue throughout November until their final show at London’s Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, on the 22nd.

The hugely popular live band performance was one of 2016s fastest selling theatre tours, with the group being the official tribute band created by Roger Taylor and Brian May. The shows this year will celebrate the UKs biggest selling album of all time, ‘Queen Greatest Hits’, which was released in 1981, and sold over 6.1 million copies in Britain alone.

Roger Taylor describes the show as “a rock celebration in the Royal tradition”, and the show has been designed to bring new fans together with old fans, to celebrate the music of Queen. The sixteen show tour is billed as the “Queen’s Greatest Hits Tour”, and promises to deliver all the hits any fan wants to hear, including ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Another One Bites The Dust’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, Under Pressure’, ‘We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions’, ‘A Kind Of Magic’, ‘Radio Ga Ga’, and ‘Killer Queen’. the lineup includes some of today’s finest musicians, all hand picked by Roger and Brian.



When announcing the dates, May said,

“Queen aficionados!!! This may be your only chance to see ALL of Queen’s Greatest hits performed immaculately – LIVE!!”

 

 

While Taylor said, “These guys are incredibly talented, with their scintillatingly perfect recreation of our songs”.

The Queen Extravaganza has already played over 160 dates all over the world, including appearances on American Idol, which was watched by over 20 million people. This will be their sixth visit to the UK.
