Kelsea Ballerini Set To Perform At C2C On March 9-11 Ahead Of New Single ‘I Hate Love Songs’

Grammy nominated country pop singer, Kelsea Ballerini, is set to release her new single, ‘I Hate Love Songs’, on Sony Music. One of the brightest stars in the US today, Kelsea will be touring the US in February, and returns to the UK to perform at this year’s C2C Festival, held March 9-11, in London, Glasgow, and Dublin.

Kelsea Ballerini doesn’t like Valentine’s Day. In her new song, ‘I Hate Love Songs’, she pokes fun at all the clichés and “Hallmark moments” such as,

“Shakespeare and Gosling, and cakes with white frosting/Two names in a heart-shaped tattoo.” She thinks “Cupid is stupid, and violets are purple, not blue.”

She’s not all anti-love however; Kelsea married her boyfriend, Australian country artist Morgan Evans, before Christmas.

‘I Hate Love Songs’ is from Kelsea’s latest album, ‘Unapologetically’, and is definitely one of the highlights. It’s been co-written by Kelsea, Trevor Rosen, and Shane MacAnally, the latter one of Nashville’s most successful writer producers.

Kelsea Ballerini was one of only four female country artists to crack the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 Chart last year, and made the #3 spot on the US Country Albums Chart. That success in her home country, combined with ‘Unapologetically’ debuting at #1 on both the UK and Australian Country Albums Charts, meant that sales more than tripled those of her gold-certified debut album, ‘The First Time’.

Further information and tickets for C2C are now available here. Find out more about Kelsea from her official website.
