Made In Chelsea’s Fredrik Ferrier Releases The Christmas Spirit With Soulful Single ‘Feliz Navidad (She Stole My Heart’

Half Icelandic and half English, singer-songwriter Fredrik Ferrier is set to rock the global music market with his debut single out today. ‘Feliz Navidad (She Stole My Heart)’ was co-written by Simon Climie and iconic Icelandic composer producer Bjarni Biering, who also co-produced it. Additionally the track features magnificent trumpet playing from Simon Gardner.

Fredrik is known to UK audiences from the hit TV show, ‘Made In Chelsea’, but has had a passion for music from a young age, and as a child growing up in Norway was inspired by his parents’ extensive music collection, ranging from jazz and soul, to opera and pop. Freddie learned to play violin and then began developing his voice, singing treble in a cathedral choir in Scotland, and attended the UKs famous Oratory School as a music scholar, before reading music at Bristol University. He’s lived all over the world, including Norway, Syria, Denmark, and the US, as well as the UK.

Fredrik also plays piano, and speaks several languages, including French, Spanish and Arabic, and sings part of ‘Feliz Navidad’ in Spanish. He was discovered by Ivor Novello and Grammy Award winning singer songwriter producer, Simon Climie. Simon has been recording with Fredrik this autumn, and the song was written especially for him. Simon is no stranger to pop fame himself, having been one part of hit duo, Climie Fisher. He’s worked with a number of huge names, including Eric Clapton, BB King, George Michael, and Aretha Franklin – he even wrote ‘I Knew You Were Waiting’ for George and Aretha.

The video was shot in the Italian Dolomites, and is the perfect setting for Fredrik’s honey-sweet vocals, and shows him taking an emotion-charged stroll through the snow-covered mountains as he longs for the girl who stole his heart.

‘Feliz Navidad (She Stole My Heart)’ is out today on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon. Fredrik will today be performing the track exclusively for Apple Music and Made In Chelsea.
