CHARACULA – ‘Mummy Dance’

It’s just about Halloween and you know what that means! Yes Characula is back with ‘Mummy Dance’, ready for the darkest day of the year.

The video sees Characula in her lush castle, gorging on tarantulas, and sucking the soul from a mummified body, fuelling her demonic desires. A troupe of pharaoh-esque dancers bring the ‘Mummy Dance’ to its full conclusion, with the viewer enticed and entranced, almost hypnotised by the dance.

‘Mummy Dance’ delivers a larger than life personality, a visual aesthetic that’s easy on the eye, and enough avant garde imagery to capture the twisted minds and black hearts of Characula’s audience. She walks like an Egyptian, mashes like a monster, and in her own words, has a sound that’s “a blend of metal, dance, and the old drive-in movie theater”.
