Making their mark in the music world, Nalani and Sarina Bolton have been spreading their high-energy synchronous rock’n’roll sound across the Northeast USA for several years now.
The identical twins have been playing, singing, and writing together since they were children, and their dynamic live show has made them firm favourites everywhere they perform. They’ve been played on Sirius XM Radio, and have been featured on WHYYs ‘Friday Arts’, and have received extensive press coverage.
Recently Nalani and Sarina did a TEDx talk, which was held independently at The Firefly Music Festival, in Dover, Delaware. It included a live performance and an inspiring look at their personal history.
The inspiring young women have amazing voices, both in terms of songwriting and public speaking, which they make clear in their TEDxDoverSalon Talk. Entitled, ‘To Thine Own Self Be True’, Nalani and Sarina talk about what it’s like to be young women in love with music since birth, while at the same time struggling with the obstacles placed against female performers in the music industry.
