Pop Noir Producer ‘Hail!Maggiedacat’ Set to Release New EP ‘Born under Cancer’

With a style described as ‘Pop Noir’ and a voice that is deeply reminiscent of Lana Del Rey, singer songwriter, producer, and compuster ‘Hail!Maggiedacat’ released her 4 track EP, ‘Born under Cancer’ on April 18 this year.

The songs on ‘Born under Cancer’ are dark and sombre, and were recorded in ‘Hail!Maggiedacat’s home studio. The artist takes her inspiration from 80s horror soundtracks, as well as 90s R&B, and these sounds can be heard throughout the EP, combined with her own unique styling. ‘Chappaquiddick’, the last and longest of the tracks, is also the most moving, with swirling vocals and Eastern-tinged instrumentation.
