Miccoli Announce New Single Release ‘Idle Stranger’

Miccoli are back with their new single, ‘Idle Stranger’, set for release on 3 March, through AFA Records.

We’ve not heard from the Birmingham trio for a while but we’re happy to report that their latest single, taken from their forthcoming album due out later this year, is as much infectious pop and retains their trademark sibling harmonies we’ve come to love.

‘Idle Stranger’ is accompanied by a gorgeous video, which was filmed in Venice and directed by up and coming photographer, Valentio McKenzie.

Miccoli comprises the trio of siblings, twins Adriano and Alessandro, and their younger sister Francesca. All three take vocal duties, with Adriano playing acoustic and electric guitar, while Alessandro takes piano and also acoustic guitar. Francesca additionally plays piano and harmonica. The group takes their inspiration from Simon and Garfunkel, The Police, Crosby Stills and Nash, Fleetwood Mac, and Motown, and have blended these together with their own haunting melodies.

Miccoli have spent the last year in the studio and are now ready to hit the road again, performing the songs from their upcoming album. Find out more online on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and their official website. Also check them out on EyeEm.
