Frida Sundemo Releases Remix EP, ‘We Are Dreamers’

Swedish songstress Frida Sundemo has released a remix EP of her latest single ‘We Are Dreamers’, which is out now through Cosmos Music.

Four Scandinavian producers, including Loney Dear, CLMD, Dominique Tey and David Lillberg, have reworked the new single on the four-track EP.

“We predict big things” – Fabulous Magazine

“Melodic uplifting alt-pop” – Shortlist

“Frida Sundemo’s ‘We Are Dreamers’ is pristine Swedish pop” – Idolator

“An uplifting antidote to a bad week” – The Fader

Loney Dear takes Frida’s uplifting anthem straight to the dance floor with dark bass rumbles and an irresistible shuffling beat.

The euphoric song is then sent into the stratosphere with the touch of CLMD, who enlists huge high-rise EDM synths.

Dominique Tey moves ‘We Are Dreamers’ into deep underground territories, intertwining a deep bass and bhangra sentiments, while David Lillberg closes the EP with a minimal dubby percussive re-rub of the single.

Frida recently revealed the video for ‘We Are Dreamers’, which saw her star as a mesmeric siren of colour within an expansive blank space.

‘We Are Dreamers’ follows the previous single ‘Heroes’, which featured in the Hollywood movie, ‘Kill Your Friends’. Frida made her big screen debut in the film with a leading role alongside Nicholas Hoult and James Corden, providing three songs in total for the soundtrack.

Sundemo’s music was also included within episodes of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Scream Queens’ last year.

“Everything’s looking rosy for another Scandinavian pop princess” – Evening Standard

Frida originally rose to prominence in 2013 with her highly acclaimed Indigo EP, which saw her build a dedicated fan-base across the globe.

Now signed to leading Scandinavian label Cosmos Music, and is set to go stratospheric in 2017.

“The single is uplifting in every sense, with pounding EDM-y choruses underpinning the Gothenburg native’s hope-stuffed vocals.” – Line of Best Fit
