We introduced readers to Alex Di Leo back in November, with his previous song and video, ‘Waking Up’. Now the South Florida native is back with his latest single, ‘So We Go’, the next release from his EP of the same name.
Alex’s sound clearly takes its inspiration from the likes of Coldplay, Vance Joy, and Arcade Fire, among others, with the result a gorgeous up tempo track which will conveys the sound of summer days down at the beach, and is the perfect remedy for the long and cold winter.
The song is matched with a video beautifully shot in and around LA, and features Alex and a a young woman on an adventure exploring the beaches, canyons, and downtown, shot from the roof of a warehouse. As the sun sets on their long day and the pair get to work on their respective crafts – he on songwriting, she on painting, the deep connection between the couple is evident and echoed in the repeated mantra, “If you love her say, if you love her stay”. If you find “the one” never ever let them go.
