Alternative Rock Duo ‘LuminAnt’ Announce Release of Debut Album ‘Renaissance’

Lucy Barka and Ant Horsman initially formed as a temporary duo back in 2015 for a charity gig, and decided to form a duo when their performance was well-received. LuminAnt was formed, and now the pair have released their eleven track album, ‘Renaissance’.
The album features a combination of tracks penned by the alt-rock LuminAnt, as well as some classic covers. Lucy and Ant have found their inspiration in the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Queen, and Taylor Swift, and through this have created a fresh sound with a nonetheless classic rock vibe. To our ears there’s a fair bit of Fleetwood Mac in their sound as well, which is not ever a bad thing.
The original tracks on the album have all been a collaborative effort, with Ant composing the rhythm section, and Lucy layering the vocal track on top, as well as keys. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Ant in his home studio, and is the first of more to come. Released yesterday 9 December, ‘Renaissance’ is available from their official website, and Amazon. Follow LuminAnt on Facebook and Twitter.
