The up and coming indie-pop quartet King No-One have revealed their exciting video for new single ‘Alcatraz’ which is out now.

“King No-One with Constellations. Loving that!! One, big single!” – Huw Stephens (Radio 1)

“Ambitious young band. They just blew our socks off with their strongest single yet” – Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music)

‘This is only the beginning for King No-One, I’m tipping them for big things” – Jericho Keys (BBC Introducing)

“They blew us away at the 02 Academy” – James Brown (Pulled Apart By Horses)

The boys can be described as flamboyant and fun, and the new video is a perfect complement to the vibrant tones and uplifting pop charm of the track.

The band’s energy and modern 80’s style radiates throughout as they sing, dance and perform through an explosion of colour in this infectious slice of indie-pop pleasure.

King No-One have described their video as:

“a warped vision of your past deluding your perception of the present. Not being able to find someone because you are dwelling on a nostalgic and unrealistic past. For the video we wanted to get a sad, and all too common narrative, across in a fun and engaging manner”.

Their ever-growing support has seen the band championed by various radio DJs including Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music), Dermot O’Leary (BBC Radio 2), Dan O’Connell (Radio X) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music), as well as seeing them secure a spot on BBC Radio 1’s Best of BBC Introducing List 2015 with their track ‘Constellations’.

‘National TV’ and ‘Online Tastemakers’ have noticed the band with their music videos gaining exposure on the likes of Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and previous singles ‘Foreign Tongue’, ‘Constellations’ and ‘Stay Close’ hitting top 3 spots on Hype Machine.

The band have also appeared in festivals such as Reading and Leeds, The Great Escape (BBC Introducing Showcase), Live At Leeds, Dot-To-Dot and a headlining Club NME show at the iconic KOKO in Camden.

Having just sold out their own UK headline tour, King No-One will be back on the road for a second headline run this December, due to fan demand.
