INTO THE FIRE “Spit You Out”

Into The Fire’s rapid rise to the forefront of modern hard rock is in reality the usual story of hard work and dedication to their craft and being the right people in the right place at the right time. The band is a recent assembly, but each of the individual members has cut their teeth in some of the biggest names in the game.

The band pretty much formed on a whim when SOiL bassist Tim King, and guitarist Adam Zadel were sitting around one day chatting about who it might be fun to jam with. Next thing a text message was sent to Bryan Scott (vocalist who has earned his stripes with The Union Underground, and Cult To Follow), and Into The Fire was brought into being. Scott says,

“As soon as Tim sent me the material I immediately had ideas and started putting vocals down. The music had the perfect vibe for what I wanted to do.”

The trio brought in drummer Will Hunt, who had performed with Evanescence, and Black Label Society, and suddenly, the powerhouse group was ready to rock and hit the ground running.

‘Into The Fire’ is the band’s eponymous EP, and lead single, ‘Spit You Out’, is a hard rocking track with a music video appropriately spooky for late September/early October release.

The video for ‘Spit You Out’ revolves around the tale of a photographer who finds himself face to face with something he’s never before encountered. After seeing his ghostly self leave as he enters, he nonetheless proceeds to photograph the sultry, scantily clad woman who’s behind the curtain. There’s some fascinating yet a little disturbing shots of her pulling a rose from her mouth, as well as needles criss-crossing her face.

The track is as you expect, crisp hard rock, expertly played, as befitting artists of Into The Fire’s calibre. You can find out more about Into The Fire from their official website, Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus.
