We Find It Easier To ‘Breathe’: Luke Cusato Releases Remixes Of His Song

Breathe Remixes

Back in May we wrote about Luke Cusato’s breathy dream-pop single, ‘Breathe’. Now Luke is back, with two remixes for the track.

The remixes, set for release on September 9, retain the breathiness characterised in the original, but transform the song into something completely different, giving the song further vitality. The first, by Snareskin, an artist signed to Heroic Recordings, is an electro-pop masterpiece, with orchestral-style synth instrumentation making it a pumping dance track. The second, by upcoming producer Gill Chang, starts off soft and inviting, before becoming a House/Grime tinged number. Both treatments ensure the song is still recognisable as ‘Breathe’, with Luke’s vocals the prime focal point.

Speaking about the remixes, Luke says,

“I think the great thing about working with amazing producers is they always keep the essence of the track you created. “Breathe” is a pretty emotional song, you still get that from the remixes…but now you have so many added emotions too and different genres. Some of the remixes are pretty chilled, others pretty epic…but still that same emotional electronic sound.”
