New Yorker Janey Street has been singing and writing songs from a young age, with a prolific output that continues to this day. As well as being a solo artist, Janey has also written songs for the likes of blues singer Ruth Brown, Janis Ian, Eric Anderson, Dutch artist, Judith Holland, Japanese artist, Maria, and many more.

Janey has recorded several albums under various labels, including Warner Bros/Reprise, Capitol Records, and also Arista, under the guidance of the legendary Clive Davis. She’s toured for many years playing venues of varying size, from small clubs right up to 20,000 seat venues, throughout the US and Canada.

Janey Street has opened for the Bee Gees, Richie Havens, and John Hammond Jr, to name just three. Most would know her for her song, ‘Under The Clock’, which became a top 20 Billboard A/C hit, as well as receiving high rotation on VH1.

This year, Janey has released her album, ‘My Side Of Paradise’, on Blue Élan Records. The album is a diverse collection of songs showcasing her formidable songwriting skills, and highlighting her thoughtful, poignant lyrics. Produced by the Grammy-nominated Dave Darling, it’s an adventurous production that takes a contemporary nod to classic Americana Pop.
