Seasoned Singer/Songwriter Daniel Reeves Is ‘Young At Heart’ With New Single

Sounding like a cross between Lee Kernaghan and John Williamson, with more than a touch of Keith Urban, Australian singer/songwriter Daniel Reeves released his single, ‘Young At Heart’ on March 3. The track precedes his album, ‘In A Moment Of Chaos’, which is set to come out later this year.

Daniel wrote ‘Young At Heart’, as well as half of the album’s twelve tracks, while car troubles stranded him in a small country town, whilst in the midst of a national tour. The album captures the spirit of the Australian bush, and the strength of character of her people.

From Melbourne, Daniel Reeves has in his career shared the stage with the likes of Lee Kernaghan, Amanda Palmer, and Stonefield. He’s been interviewed and had radio play on Melbourne’s Triple R FM, and also had his music videos played on legendary ABC TV music programme, RAGE. ABC Radio has also had him in for live performances, and three of Daniel’s songs have made it into the top 10 on Radio Triple J.

‘In A Moment Of Chaos’ is inspired by life, and the journey we all take through it, and so it’s appropriate that it was written whilst Daniel was on tour. Mixed by Mat Thomas, who’s worked with Jet, and Bon Jovi, and produced by drummer Bruce Curnow, who’s best known in Australia as being a member of 80s new wave band, Kids In The Kitchen (check them out if you don’t know them – you won’t regret it!).

Daniel released two EPs in 2013, ‘Young Man’s Shoes’, and ‘Four Walls’, after which followed a tour of Tasmania, and included supporting Wes Car in South Australia and New South Wales. 2014 saw the release of his EP, ‘Breathe In Light’, which was then followed by an extensive national tour and supporting Lee Kernaghan, and The Wolfe Brothers.

You can find Daniel online on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Instagram, and his website. ‘Young At Heart’ is available to download from iTunes.
