With her new single, ‘The Other Side’, Mary English has released the perfect summer track, featuring catchy vocals, as well as upbeat melodic hooks.

Written by Mary alongside Elliot James, formerly of Florida Pop Punk band, Hey Monday, ‘The Other Side’ was recorded at the legendary Studio Malibu, which has seen artists including Zedd, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears. Mary cites as among her influences, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato, and this can be heard in the track, which has been mastered at Capitol Records, LA, by Robert Vosgien.

‘The Other Side’ is pure pop with a beat that makes you want to leap out of your chair and dance. Accompanied by a beach themed video, it conjures up images of Southern California and summers that never end.

Mary English is a relative newcomer to the music world, but in her two years as a professional singer songwriter, she’s been championed by MTV, and performed with Aaron Carter, who she credits as being one of her inspirations.

‘The Other Side’ is from Mary’s as yet unreleased EP, which is set to come out in the Autumn. You can find out more details about Mary English, as well as her music, and the announcement of her EP release date, on her official website.
