March Essentials On Tradiio

March Essentials

Welcome to our March Playlist, in conjunction with Tradiio. This month’s list comes from a selection of up and coming Tradiio artists, as well as those we’ve loved this month.

Feels

Helsinki electro-pop group Feels is singer songwriter, Sofi Meronen, keyboardist Mikael Myrskog, and producer Jooel Jons. They’ve just released their first EP, ‘Butterflies’. Their music is epic, gripping, and toned with nordic melancholy.

Secret Nation

We don’t know very much about this act at all, apart from that we love their songs very much, so we’ve featured them in our playlist this month.

Billy Boguard

Billy Boguard is a French singer songwriter living in London. Inspired by Neil Young, Bon Iver, and Damien Rice, his songwriting is evolving into a kind of storytelling folk style. Billy Boguard sings songs that come from the heart, betraying his own feelings in a poetic, and simple way.

Dom Robinson

21 year old singer songwriter Dom Robinson is rapidly emerging as one of the rising stars on the BBC Introducing circuit. He has turned his simple DIY home recordings into beautifully crafted works of art, with his dark soundscape working perfectly as the backdrop for his heartfelt, honest lyrics. His airy vocal style has a haunting effect, leaving people comparing him to Nick Drake, Ben Howard and Keaton Henson and showcasing Dom’s musical maturity beyond his years.

Novem

Canadian hip hop artist, Novem, is described in his Twitter bio as “An artist with diversity and a great story.” His song ‘Day One’, is emotive and heartfelt.

Luke Cusato

Luke Cusato is a naturally gifted songwriter; armed with an electronic piano, velvety beats and a falsetto to die for. Luke has a hugely commercial feel that mixes beautifully with pure emotion.

Triniti

‘Taste’, from Florida EDM artist Triniti, is an ethereal, dreampop number, which takes us on a wave of rhythms and sounds. Be sure to check out her other tracks as well.

Limited Health

Limited Health describe themselves as “Music to heal”. We’ve playlisted one of their artists before, Raveena. This month we have selected Blush, with ‘Losing My Mind’. Again, it’s ethereal and mystical – dream pop.

Vynce

Vynce, a 4-piece indie-pop band from the Wirral, have worked over the past 2 years to create what they would deem to be the best songs they could possibly make. Time is seldom spend over-developing an ‘interesting’ riff but is channelled into making music that the boys hope that people will enjoy. Each song with irresistible vocal hooks and unforgettable guitar riffs, the band look to conquer 2016 with this exact recipe. VYNCE take musical influence from bands like The Cure and Foals, combining their frenetic guitars with the bold, pop melodies of bands like Oasis and Stone Roses.

Mongoose

Dublin based alt folk band Mongoose, consist of four girls and their instruments. With influences ranging from Simon and Garfunkel to Beyoncé, their music focuses on sweet harmonies.

Mongoose released their self-titled debut album in Dublin, on May 22 last year.

You can invest in all the artists we’ve featured – we have – and listen to more of their music, and support them for free, on Tradiio. Stay tuned for our April Essentials – coming very soon!
